Top Yoga Poses That Anyone Can Practice at Any Age

 Yoga is a philosophy that is meant for any age or time. Irrespective of how old you are, or where you are living, you can practice Yoga at any time or any place.

Despite the bodily differences, there are few asanas that can be practiced by anyone, at any time. The Asanas are as follows –


1.  Shavasana –This asana can be practiced by anyone, irrespective of age. This Asana is very simple to practice and leads to instant comfort and relaxation.

2. Mindfulness Breathing or Deep Breathing –Mindfulness breathing can be done anytime and at any place. You don’t need any special equipment or tools to perform this practice.

3. Cow Pose – This pose is especially good for people with back pain and can be practiced by people of all ages. The pose mobilizes the joints, stimulates blood and lymphatic flow, and helps in regulating the breath.

4. Tadasana – This pose is relatively easier to practice and can be practiced by standing. It helps in correcting body posture, body alignment, and enhances the entire body system.

5.  Adho Mukha Svanasana – This pose helps in creating harmony between upper and lower body, and increasing the energy system of the body.

6.  Standing Balancing Poses – There are three standing poses that are restively easier to practice and can give an immense boost to your yoga practice. Vrksasana (Tree Pose) & Eagle Pose (Garudasana) are two most common and easiest standing poses that can be practiced by anyone.

7.  Sukhasana – This is a sitting pose and can be practiced while performing any meditation practice. This is done by folding your legs and resting your arms on the knees.

By performing these relatively easier Asanas daily, you will be able to gain a better hold on your meditation practice and attain tremendous progress in your spiritual sadhana.
